Interesting style.

Your frame-by-frame animation style reminds me of Ralph Bakshi's work.

If you decide to go back and fine tune this animation, you may consider adding sound effects and more frame-by-frame animation in place of your use of tweening skews. The tweened skews stand out a bit too much and contrast with your frame-by-frame animation style. You could shorten the duration of your tweens and add some frame-by-frame animation in front and behind the tweens to help them feel more seamless in the animation. Ideally you'll want to try and minimize the awkward look of tweened animation as much as possible.

Something here just didn't click. It had all the WOW factor, and I'm sure others found the soundtrack added to the awesome factor, and I can understand this. Ya sure, the stylized characters are pretty cool, but the flash is definitely not worthy of the top five honors when Tar Boy is seemingly not in contention on this site. There is no end to this flash: which, by the way, flows neatly from end to beginning of the loop. Still, like the modern film industry, there is only the rehashing of existing ideas here. (Smash bros games/Mario-whatever.)

There's my criticizing, and now you get those 6 because of the overall look of this piece. As I've partially said, stylizing and re-thinking of the iconic characters is at Premium. Your animation is classic and legendary. I wish more submissions here had that frame-by-frame old school artistic quality, and less of the tweening and cheating that dominates here and on modern TV cartoons. I think I will add another star just for that: so 7/10 with 2 points docked for the usage of Pre-Existing Ideas, and 1 point docked for being inferior to
Tar Boy :P

Still had to give all my five, but maybe next time (and time after, and time after) all my three. Or maybe 0's, to get my Tar Boy to surpass you. (Yeah. Right.) No, I dock you down to 6 for not being Tar Boy, sorry. XD Take it easy. (**all typos blame on my beer**)

It's kind of...

Skippy, it's really skippy, even on a good PC. Too low framerate. Sometimes the drawings were TOO SKEWED, distorted. The perspective was absolutely horrible sometimes, too. The first seconds, while you show us bowser, were amazing, though. And.. it needs sound. It screams so. The part after Luigi lights his flower cigarrette up wasn't understandable at all. The perspective was really bad.
Well, it's a nice try, though.
