Repetitive and not challenging
This game is totally uninteresting and boring.
I really can't understand how people can like to mindlessy transform people into zombies since this is everything this game is about. Don't get me wrong; graphics and music is nice and all but the gameplay is a total fail.
First of all it's totally unbalanced: right at the start you might spend like 20 tries to conquer one of the very first towns. But just afterwards it will be TOTALLY impossible to not destroy any city with just a total random click in any spot.
There is totally no brain work involved in playing this game; it's pratically a Luck-grinding game. First part you just have to pray the zombies you catched won't be dumb enought to walk towards empty spaces, second part is just boring grinding to get the necessary upgrades to complete the game (obviously no choice is actually better than another and the buy system actually forces the player to buy all stats in the way the game wants more than making actual choices).
I am sorry but I actually don't fin fun at all if I can cover my eyes with a bandage, click in a random spot and destroy the town as far as I clicked inside the game window.
Other than that this game actually brings no innovation over the precedent episodes. It actually makes it worse since the first one actually had a point (trying to complete all levels in a set amount of time). There is no limitation here since you may spend whatever amount of days (and scoring is quite messed up; should I get more points by completing the game in the least amount of days or playing dumb and get the score bonus for having upgraded everything I can) and the game is frustratingly repeating itself over and over so that you actually miss when there were limited days.
The other new element, the "special zombies", aren't anything I care for, but I guess someone can surely argue those are bad taste (fatties, McDonaldies, Mujaheddin, Micheal Jackson).
That's it and even if I actually enjoy making rewievs for highly rated games that I hate, that doesn't mean at all I'm not being objective (following my parameters) in this writing.
