Reviews for "celebribabys ep 1"

Seems like it has an awesome load of potential...

Like I said, the series really seem like they have a lot of potential for becoming great cartoons sometime in the future, the style has that old school vibe to it, and the presentation seems really professional, in fact, it really seems like the kind of thing you'd see as the typical animated short you see on commercials on big TV industries, or it would be, if it wasn't for the only flaw this flash had, and that was the animation. Frankly, it was a bit disappointing, the tweens really took away all the motion in the actions. If the animation has a bit more of an approach to frame by framing, the finishing sequence, the part with Leno kicking Conan would've looked way better and been funnier (due to the fact that in the movie, it really lacks the motion that gives it the old WB cartoon feeling)

Then again, those are just simple aesthetic demands that could be overlooked because of how short and professionally put together the movie is, but it does take something away from the it.

Please keep doing these, they seem like the kind of stuff you'd find in a series page, and I'd love to see this become one!

y'know- you're absolutely right. and I'm one who loves FxF animation... unfortunately the nature of these toons (and me being the only one of us that's super proficient in flash) creates a need for them to be done in a timely fashion. Because we're trying to create something that is dependent on the subject matter being relevant. But, hopefully I'll get faster and maybe get another person to help out with some of the "tweening" and I can throw in a few exaggerated FxF pieces.

thanks for watching.

Awesome retroage

Great use of the old Warner Bros style cartoon. Loved the cartoon.

celebribaby responds:

thank you! I love Carl Stalling's stuff. So when we first started conceiving this we all thought it would suit Celebribabys well. :D

Personality

All I can say really is that I'd have liked to have seen more of the hosts personalities portrayed through the babies. The symbolism was there, in the faces, mics, and network symbol, but the babies themselves could have been anyone if the heads where switched.

Everything else was clever though.

celebribaby responds:

y'know- you're right. we really didn't think much about trying to put a lot of character specific personality in the babies. (except- I did throw in Jay's head nod laugh thing he does- lol).
but- yeah.. good call man- we'll take that into consideration on the next one.

lol

brilliant funny truthful and well animated

celebribaby responds:

thanks! glad ya digs.

The Unfortunate Truth....

You definitely stated the obvious with this one unfortunately. You showed the true side of this situation and "what really seemed to have happened between the two". It's sad really...

You portrayed the situation in a very comical way and the animation was flawless. The sound effects were perfectly used and the idea/concept was portrayed nicely.

The only thing I think you should have done was added Jimmy Kimmel.... he was part of this despite NOTHING actually happened to him.. But other than that nice job.

Musical Mahem

celebribaby responds:

yeah- our "schtick" I guess is that... most of these little celebrity dramas always end the same way... somebody cries like a baby. lol.
