the leveling of the character gets faster when you remember that most of the enemies has to make a contact with you by jumping on you to damage your health...

I beat the game without armor upgrades

Great to hear the Ruffle issues have been fixed! Gonna play through and confirm for myself now :-D
Last parts are bugged as hell. Can't get near the locked door to open it. By walking in the bottom left corner you get past the mountain collision and open the door, but then you can't pass through the exit of the cave and can only walk around outside collision limits.
Sometime I'm even teleported to the forest from here...

There’s a current bug in the Ruffle emulator. I’ve reported it to them and they’re working on it.
I've restarted my run 3 times and I keep getting the same glitch which prevents me from going near the door that requires the key. The red stairs have a forcefield around them so I'm prevented from going to the door regardless of if I have the key. With this new fix my save was deleted, but it was worth that door finally opening.
