Great

The idea of narrative in different forms is always of interest. The creation of a dynamic story through a few simple images and the alteration of music allows for a really open realm for the viewer's imagination to, well, explore.

For everyone that says this is a "game"? It's about the narrative that can be developed through different means. (Please correct me if I'm wrong on this front TerryCavanagh!)

TerryCavanagh responds:

I'm quite happy to call this a "game", though I don't really care about how that term is defined.

I know this isn't going to "work" for everyone, but I'm glad it strikes a chord with some people at least!

Subtle.

Seems most people who tried this didn't really understand it and I can see why...its very cryptic and hard to grasp; hard to see where the 'game' part of it comes in. But after enough experimentation, i kinda realized what was going on. The part where it really struck home was when i kept pressing left, and waiting for the next segment until it came to the slowest setting and i started to get a grasp of some outline of a story. not really in the traditional sense of storytelling, because you have to interpret it as it may pertain to you, or project yourself onto it maybe. it was subtle, and i liked it. your games seem to have profound meanings and i love the way you involve the player, even if the graphics are often minimalistic.

What on earth was that about?

I cant even give 1 star for the music, everything was terrible and i think you forgot to mention that you were as high as a kite when you made this in cambridge. I just dont understand what you think is good about it, its just a random piece of something thats gone quite wrong. Try do something with it and then submit it, otherwise leave it at the back of your cupboard

refine it and bring it back as a full-blown flash.

you might have something unique here, but like the "author comments" says, this is an experimental work. before submitting it to a general audience, i'd like it if you worked on it a bit more and polished it up. i didn't understand what this was about, even though the description said it's supposed to be for interactive storytelling.

i see a potentially good game/flash here, but as of now, it's all a jumble to me. there's no storyline as far as i can see (i tried to piece together some kind of story from the pictures and it didn't really work), only somber, repetitive music, and random pictures drowned out in different colours.
