Another, and another...
The style of this game is not something we haven't seen never. In fact, at least one of eight games are made with pixels. Why we like it? Because it looked cool, strange, and you have to put an effort to animate secuences.
This game tries to tell something with it's structure, but it doesn't reach the target at all.
Why? Because the limited actions of the main character. he can only move and die. We don't have any defense against our enemy. That wouldn't have to be a problem, but if each room has a puzzle in which you have to die 30 times to pass it, to go to another room and spend more and more time trying to advance after another frustrating situacion . There are not second ways, or items to help you. As we say in Spain: "With our naked hands".
Make it faster, easier (at least first levels), and don't repeat the topics of platform games.

I see where your going with the game, but I found it a little more or less of what I would want of this game... All in all a good game. Noting more to say:)
Shoddy controls ruin the gameplay
The controls really fucked over the experience for me. Platformers require intuitive controls, so the player can predict what is going to happen when he pushes a button. When I press right, it's unlikely I want to move 6 entire feet to the right. The controls make maneuvering hell. The character flies all over the place and I can barely keep him in check. It isn't that bad until you have to do precision maneuvering. I couldn't get past 'driller' thanks to this.
The game game could've been great since I'm feeling the whole 8 bit thing you've got going. But being stuck on a room frustrated not because I don't understand the game, but because the controls haven't been properly balanced, fucks over the experience.
