I completely agree!
I have yet to play a game that has given me the same experience as HL2, though I feel that uncharted 2 came pretty close as far as the movie-like action bits go. ive replayed HL2 many times, and ravenholme still gives me the creeps!
HL2 was a good game
...except for the fact both you and enemies have mostly close range weapons;
You kill most of combine with handguns from distance while they miss you with 100 rounds of machine gun. '-.-
Half life 2 rocks
what i liked most of Half life 2 is the story line
its just awesome
who thinks half life 2 is crap has no taste and no life.

but personally, I would've gone for modern warfare 2. (like everyone else who has even picked up an xbox 360 controller) XD
MW2 is not the best game of last decade. Anyone that says it is clearly hasn't played many games.
