Nice job!
Amazing game. The pixel style really complimented the game more than I had expected. The controls were fluid and the gameplay was fun. It was also quite a challenge if you didn't have any gun mods/upgrades.
Tips:
-Always search through the room you are currently in. Some rooms that are dead ends actually have mods at the end of them, which you WILL need. Search carefully.
-Strafing can come in handy many times. To strafe, hold down C and move back and forth. I don't know how many people already know this, but I might as well put it down.
-The first boss is quite simple. All it requires is timing to move through the beam. Don't stay at the back, move up so you can hit him. The shots will harmlessly fly over you if you get close enough.
-If you are having trouble on the second boss, stay in the laser beams and tap the up arrow. It will allow you to stay in place or move appropriately if you find yourself on a collision course for the boss. DO NOT COLLIDE WITH HIM OR YOU WILL DIE.
-The fireballs on the last boss final stage are probably the most annoying thing ever. They break apart the blocks you need to jump to an appropriate height to hit the robot's head. Try to get on the blocks BEFORE they hit, because you never know if one is on a collision course for the block you are jumping to.
All in all, a pretty awesome game. It reminds me of the classics, and the game in general was pretty awesome. A variety of enemies to prevent a repetitive feeling, but just the right length to prevent boredom. Took me about fifteen minutes to beat on easy, I don't think I'm attempting hard.

really like the pixel animation in the game! sound effects and music are great and the gameplay is really addicting. the only thing that bugged me was not being able to use "w" or up key to jump, but other than awesome game! 10/10

Great game, I'm a big fan of pixel things. But anyway, I found some bugs. I'm on this big mountain of red/green bricks, covered in the fragile ones. I was shooting them all, and a few bricks, when destroyed, there was a red/green brick behind it, and I could walk through those bricks. But great game, please make more with the Flixel framework. I would give this 10 out of 10 anytime, anywhere.
