You get some off for not having a plot, but hey, it's not Shadow vs Sonic! Anyway, you avoided the usual sprite pitfall; too much damn charging. In fact, you only really had 2 charges, the rest was fast-paced action, and nicely done action at that. Smooth tweens, good frames per second, no real lag issues, a great sprite short all-around.
By the way, you should always cite your sources, sprite rippers usually ask for credit on their sheets.

very good animation. Was not choppy at all, it had fluid smooth motion with awesome sprites. I agree with arggme, just as smooth and fluid and awesome as super mario bros z. make more of these, there good. so overall good job bro
