Reviews for "Sandcastle"

Good

Nice graphics and enjoyable gameplay

Brilliant!

The animation is good, I especially liked the massive guns popping out of the medieval castle, and you are working on the sounds. So once you get the sounds in (might I suggest http://www. newgrounds.com/audio/ listen/182803 without the spaces for some good theme music?) it will be awesome.

Thanks again for this idea. I've added this music, You were writting about.
It fits! ;)

Nice!

Impressive. Nice use of physics and weapons. The idea is really neat and the gameplay may look great at first. What I dislike is that it gets repetitive. Same weapons, which I must say are very cool, same oponents. You might want to add different weapons/upgrades such as bigger pencils, bigger boulders, more funny banana bombs (greater spread area and size), maybe even unlockable weapons, aswell as castle upgrades, which might include speed, strength, village upgrades, which should include defensive walls, thougher buildings. Also some non gameplay related upgrades could be some deeper water so boats can sink more, a problem which can be big at more then 6 boats, this will probably allow you to add more boats, different terrain, from an small sea village to an pacific island village (buildings should lay on small islands divided by water) with deeper and deeper water, more enemies, etc. A problem I encountered is that flipped over ships can must be killed to pass. Flipped or even sunk ships should take damage, the lower they dive the more quicklier they should die (its logical since a boat which stays too long underwater gives out all the air and sinks).

Thanks for Your comment. It's very constructive :). I'll consider some of points You've written about in next update of this game (update with sounds and some bugs fixed). Some of them I'll do in 'Sandcastle 2', because it needs a lot of work :).

Yay

Awesome game! And thanks for using my music :)

Nice
