Nice!

Fun! Cool! Overall, Awesome! ^_^

Far from innovative

I'll be honest here--I can sort of like this game. And then, I find all the flaws with it. The problem with this game is, of course, the control scheme. Yes, I understand that it's supposed to be quirky and annoying. I understand, to the fullest extent, I understand this. The problems, however, could be solved by the introduction of more controls.

There's an old saying that "if it isn't broken, don't fix it". The reason that a lot of games feature similar control schemes is because it works. It meets gamers' needs, and adequately makes things easier. Take a look at games like Team Fortress 2 or World of Warcraft, where practically every key on the keyboard is useful, and if not, then it can be with some minor tweaking. The problem with this game is that there's only one button, and only two functions for that one button. What's worse is that you *have* to jump after running, because you click to run and release to jump. That makes navigating ceilings very difficult, because it all relies on minuscule timing. It also makes walking backwards impossible, which makes things exponentially frustrating and difficult. I think that if you changed the control scheme, I could give this a good review.

The graphics are lame, but that's of no significance to me. I muted the sound, so I'm not going to judge that. The level design is cool, except for level 12, which, logically speaking, seems to be unbeatable. The ceiling is too low to jump over the spikes in the level.

If you were trying to make a frustrating game, then in terms of comparison, you failed. If you were trying to make an enjoyable game, you failed also. I'm sorry, but I'd rather bellyflop into a freeway than play this.

Well, I respect your opinion on this matter but I can't agree with you.
I think the problem lies with people associating this game too much with ordinary platformer and that was not exactly what I had in mind - one-button platformer was supposed to be more like a separate genre. Not just platformer with chopped off controls to make things challenging, niet! I haven't just threw here and there some random changes but I thought everything out carefully.
And actually the only real problem with this game (looking at majority of the reviews) is that it is really difficult for average person - were the levels easier ordinary flash players would be able to enjoy it more.
Oh well, thanks for input! I am still glad there are lots of people who enjoy this idea, and I hope that, should I happen to continue and expand this idea, you will get to like it :)

INNOVATIVE INDEED!

It was cool!

GAWD I SUCK AT THIS...

but this is a very fresh and thoughtful game, its very interesting and the only thing that kept me from enjoying this game is that i have a nervous twitch causing me to double tap the button... spelling a constant and certain doom... but it was a fun game, kudos to you my friend

Hm...

Good idea, great style, but annoying. I don't really like it for you have to jump with the same controls as the run button. But other than that it's a great game.
