Reviews for "Sprited Nazo Unleashed"

(title in work)

What was that? I don't see really any need for lip syncing, as no one says anything. The animation itself wasn't bad, but there was no storyline and it just ended in a very odd place. Much shorter than I expected, and leaves a lot to be desired. Next time you should have some sort of storyline and dialogue, rather than just Sonic turning into a nuke explosion.

SoarKrieg responds:

Alright, but this wasn't intended to have a storyline. If you want the storyline then watch Chakra-X's "Nazo Unleashed" trilogy. These are scenes from it that I sprited to look as close to the original scenes as possible.

i do hate to say it

while i did enjoy nazo unleashed, i don't think it would work very well sprite animated, well, maybe after some practice it could, but right now, not so much. no offence, train hard and you will get there

SoarKrieg responds:

Kthnx.

Ya know...

It's kinda bad when I scroll down to read a few comments while it's loading, glance up, and see that I missed it. Needs to be far longer.

SoarKrieg responds:

That's why I added replay buttons. o.O And sorry about how short they are. They're just short scenes from the Nazo Unleashed trilogy that I picked out and animated as sprites.

Be More Relevant

You say, to past reviewers, that you wanted to show what you were capable of doing in a short period of time. The problem is you didn't. You had a couple of clips that were nearly ten seconds long and that's about it. If you want to show skill animate a full flash, with or without sprites. Keep the plot to at least forty-five seconds long. At LEAST.

Get more meaty and relevant content and then you'll have a far better production in the end.

SoarKrieg responds:

Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

It's not bad...

But it could be better. The main thing is that it is far too short to give a high score. As far as the idea goes of turning a successful hand-drawn flash into a good sprite goes, this is the first I've seen of it, so the idea seems rather original to me. Slap on a preloader, increase the frame rate to synchronize with the sound, and include one of the fight scenes from the original, and I'm sure it will turn out great.

SoarKrieg responds:

Thanks for the advice, but its not THAT original an idea xD. There's videos on YouTube of other attempts to reenact the scenes with sprites, which is what encouraged me to do this. And someone named "MiketheYoshi" I think, has a project to make a sprite version of all three Nazo movies.
