Thats really epic!!! Keep doin it bro! I mean, sis))

I'm surprised to see fpc in here as a list of things used, i find it hard and bothersome to eq or add specific effects to the separate drum sounds in fpc. Like the comments below i tend to avoid it completely So major props to you for pulling this off. Did you use any external vsts for this piece?

Troisnyx responds:

Only Soundgoodizer in small amounts, for volume boosts. Otherwise, all I had were --

1) Sampler
2) Fruity Soundfont Player
3) Slayer
4) FPC
5) Autogun
6) Fruity Parametric EQ 2
7) Fruity Reeverb 2
8) Fruity Delay
9) Fruity Fast Dist (for all guitar sections)
10) Maximus in small amounts (then again, that was available with FL 10 by default)

That's the setup. (I basically can't afford anything else at the moment, and I'm trying to keep my FL running speed to a bearable level at this moment.) Glad you liked it!

Not much that I can really say, except I really enjoyed it. It really fits the bill for video game music, and I read the description first. That description fit the music quite well. All in all, I wish I could give 7/5

Awesome stuff going on here! To be honest, I'm really impressed with what you have done with Slayer and FPC, I can't seem to make them work for my own pieces so I avoid them entirely. Seeing as you were able to use them in a very effective manner, I might give them a shot again some time!

As for the song itself, the mixing was superb and the entire song was quite catchy. I didn't even realize it was a loop until I had listened to it a number of times. Great job! :)

Troisnyx responds:

Admittedly: Slayer was a background instrument. The backing guitars come in whenever the melody is playing, and they were very soft. But generally, what I do with any guitar track, even with Slayer, is add Parametric EQ 2, Reeverb (The Venue) and Fast Dist (Some Oomph). For FPC, this wasn't the standard drum kit -- you know FL allows you to download some content for free if you have the full version of FL? This was HipScratch for FPC, and considering I've used drums to this effect before, I decided to do it again.

The sad thing about Slayer is that you can't add presets, you have to make do with the sounds that already exist. But at least FPC gives you that freedom...

Glad you liked it. Thanks for listening! ^_^

Nice one.
I love to see that you try new things, experiment with new styles and sounds and get your daily dose of randomness (Autogun I mean LOL).
One thing about mixing, the bass is way too panned to right (in my headphones) so, you might consider to get a more standard approach here. Bass = middle!, or if you want some stereo effects with it, you might consider to put on your master channel a plugin that makes low frequencies mono. TP Basslane (google it).

Very good composition, as always.
