Reviews for "Armed Prophet"

Needs some work

1. two of the four weapons seem useless

The Arm of the Zomboss should give you more damage, but it seemed to do just about the same.

The alienator is basically a watered down version of the crow bar....
I had trouble using this and it took for ever to get to zomg.
First, it seemed it had the least range and width of attack.
Then the deadly laser sometimes killed enemies in one hit and sometimes it took multiple.
I've only been able to kill a flying saucer one with the laser...

I think the cyber blade and crowbar was very good.

2. If you get stuck between 3 or more monsters, you pretty much get bounced around like ping pong ball and die. (especially for the real man levles)

3. Dead Gulch seems to be the hardest stage.

4. Even playing with at the little girl level, some monsters seem to glitch and attack very fast. Sometimes, monsters don't even get hit by attacks.

5. Bombs from the flying saucers sometimes have a higher damage range or a smaller damage range... is it supposed to fluctuate???

6. Monsters shouldn't be able to attack from off screen

7. I don't really see the point to the jump.... it's basically useless unless you're playing the area 51 level.

8. Why does the age of the robots stage have nothing to hit across (ex: skull, chair), while area 51 has 4 things you can potentially use?

9. I never used the spin attack. It was useless. You first had to use some of your blue bar, and then wait for your enemies to some close and then swing. Projectile throwing enemies could easily damage me several times during my charge and spin.

10. When is the ending scene supposed to play?
I went through all the stages several times and only saw the credits until my last run.

Fix some of these and the game will become much better.
But I did enjoy it, good job and good luck on future games.

Meh

a few pointers..

1. Power-ups! where are the powerups?? maybe a bottle of moonshine to make you invincible for 15 seconds...a bottle of hot sauce to make him shoot fireballs from his crowbar

2. Weapons. Unlockable weapons are nice but you gotta have something more powerful in the field to really down your enemies..upgrades are nice too like a titanium crowbar or dual wield hatchets to lop off limbs.

3. Clustering. Alot of these enemies cluster around you..there is no escape from this..you need to add the E key for escape button..roll out..quick spin attack something to break free.

4. Add some cameos like Bruce Campbell for example..he doesn't have to fight but a humorous line or two would be nice

Every action movie ever made-

Packed into a bite size side scrolling beat em' up, I don't care if people say it's simple, or if they dislike it, I really enjoyed it, It could use a few things like a combo system, but I'm sure making/programing/designing a game ((even a flash game)) isn't that easy. This game was pretty funny with it's 'manlier than the manliest man' feel to the character and with the 'real man' game setting. All around it was decent if you want a fun beat em' up game to kill ten minutes of time. If there's a part two, however, you should toss in a hit meter and some special moves. Other than that, good job.

Its ok

too simple.. its just walk and hit hit hit hit.. no combo moves or anything... Add moves and stuff and it'll be more fun. other than that the graphics were good

good but

good potential nice game but its freakin idiot that the game lags at high quality if its a simple, shitty game like this so it could be much better too if u wouldnt die when u get stuck in middle of like 3 openent anyway not bad...
