Reviews for "Armed Prophet"

BULLCRAP!!!!!!!

Its way way way 2 hard!!!!! forget it!

Hell Yeah!

I love the gameplay, concept and music! It's a really great game and the main problem in my opinion is that it is way too difficult.

Not bad but not great

Looks gorgeous and has a great sense of humor but the controls can leave you in trouble a time or two. To properly hit an enemy you have to line up precisely in order to strike their hitbox, and just a milimeter off means you're whiffing at air. It would have also been nice if the weapons would have had some mundane differences like more reach, faster attack speed, more damage instead of just giving you a different special death attack

Daer God in heven....

This is a great game that almost rivals castle crasher's in addictiveness, but it's hard as all hell and I can only get past the Zombie level and I play on the easy mode. I tried the alain area but didn't get too far I can get to the last part of the robats level but the flame bots awaly kick my ass. I don't know this for a fact but I think jump atacks do slightly more damage but I don't know for sure.

not so great

It LOOKed good. Nice animations and all, but just because it looks impressive doesn't mean jack.

The gameplay is pretty weak. Very slow moving and unimaginative. You basically just walk forward and hit A. The only technique to the game is walking around in circles to make sure the monster gradually making its way around to your backside doesn't sandwich you with the one you're facing.

Oh, and jumping in the air while attacking makes enemies slide back further, but it takes too long to do for it to actually be very useful.

Absolutely nothing unexpected or interesting occurs throughout the entire game at any point of any of the three levels. After you've seen the three varieties of each monster, that's all the thrill you get.

I thought it was extremely plain, and I'm not just saying that to be cynical. I don't see how it got tens and nines by several others. It didn't hold my interest for more than ten minutes, and those were minutes of me searching for a reason to like the game.
