Ok, It was a good flick, some decent potential.
Ok. Here's what i really liked. I can tell you did an in depth job on the level design. I like that almost everything you ran into was interactive. And i totally used that tire on the zombie boss like it was my job. Good system of special attacks. It wasn't to empowering to the point where it was ridiculous, but it gave you an edge. I also liked the AI. the aliens didn't fight like zombies etc. The zombies just stood there, slowly coming at you. Good effect Seething Swarm. The aliens used technology, and for the most part were really smart. I didn't have time to play the third. Anyway, Happy, good job on the music. Definitely sounded like some 80 s beat em up sidescroller stuff. And KOSTAS... it looked great. It was very "Dad n me" and that works great for beat em ups. Ok, what probably needs to be worked on. The weapon system was great Seething swarm, but one thing that was missing was that every time you hit a zombie, or alien, they pretty much were knocked out of your range. This makes things increasingly difficult to hit a successful combo. In most sidescrollers, they add a freeze code, so that the aliens or zombies or bebop or rocksteady etc. will stay in the same place. That way you don't get annoyed everytime you hit them once. I also liked in your game that jumping didn't make you unstoppable. Most games like this you pretty much can just jump off of the screen and no one can hit you there. Good aesthetic to the game. Also, i know that people have been a bit mean to your game, but they have given some truth in this one aspect. I think that the game would be increasingly more fun with powerups. Not just health, but y'know silly things. Fireballs guns. whatever makes you smile. It just makes us wanna play it more. Keep up the good work SS HH ANDVF. It was a good run, and i think you're gonna make it even better.
