Reviews for "Che (part 4)"

super

You're right ché guevara was nothing else than a murderer.
Thanks to the help of the US he was finally executed.

But I don't see what McDonalds has to do with ché guevara.
Except that ché was a commie and McDonalds is often used as a symbol of capitalism.

Viva La Revolución

For some reason I think this could easily be a commercial for some organisation that fights against the commercialisation the world is facing. Except they wouldn't make commercials. The message is clear.

I've worn a shirt with the famous icon, with a red background. I was a bit of a commie back then (have long moved on), but at least knew who the guy was. It was then that I started noticing CCCP/Che and other such things on clothing a lot, and shook my head that people didn't have a clue on what it was ("But it's pwetty").

Also a nice incorporation of the shower curtain.

You're right

Mac donalds conquers the world

I thought you did well.

The effect you produced was nice, and the subtext of the potrait melting into a McDonald's logo was a good, if not a bit bland, message. This isn't a world shattering submission, but it is a good one and deserves frontpage. It also belongs on NG, despite what some narrow minded children might think. NG is about expression of the art, not just creating cartoons with guns and dick jokes.
"EVERYTHING by Everyone", not "Everthing funny by Everyone", folks.

I also don't like Che or his ideals (but I can respect them), and this clearly isn't an homage to the man, so I don't knock you on that. I get what you're doing. It's about the watering down of ideals in general, or things that once held importance, but now hold little more than an ironic meaning, like a joke whose punchline was forgotten.

Good job!

Mogly responds:

'A joke who's punchline is forgotten'.

Yee spot on. Thanks.

Well,

i liked the style of your animation and couldn't agree more, nearly 3/4 of every person i see with a shirt with his face on it either: 1. have barley any clue why he's on all of those shirts, and 2. ironically bought it from some clothing company which exploits the workers who make their shirt in whatever country they're made. i find these things appalling and make a mockery of Ernesto Guevara and his commitment to the revolution. perhaps one day things will change. all in all good movie, good concept, keep it up
