Wasn't impressed
This animation wasn't close to the actual movie, not even funny... and terrible animation. Sorry... But try harder next time if you are going to parody something like that.

bad animation, and terrible comedy/ parody...
Things to think about: Possibly make fun of some of the characters in the film, or the crazy plot twists... like the random map, that they decided to go to vegas afterwards? or the random China man they met up with... many things that could have been made fun of... that you missed out on.

Don't not watch a movie only because you saw a 30 second summary of it! Yes, the plot is stupid, but the special effects are amazing, it's one of the perfect examples of the action/disaster movie genre. Was "The Day After Tommorow" or "Independence Day" any different? No, the plots are both stupid, but they made other movies of the year look crappy. And just because you saw a badly animated thirty second summary you saw on a flash site, you're going to skip the golden standard? This summary skips every single good part of the movie, makes every single character seem like an idiot, and basically skipped the parts that show any sign of intelligence whatsoever.
I feel bad for you, people of Newgrounds who haven't seen 2012.
It's about as stupid as Rambo, so why don't you never watch Rambo, either?
