I liked it but it had a few problems
I never played any of the other Battlelion games. this is my first.
I liked the game it had one major problem though The "save" feature.
You couldn't save the game. You either "save and quit" or just "quit"
When I hit "save and quit" to save my level I would than be brought to the main screen where I could continue. When I press continue I'm back at the level I saved at, but with no sound. Also, eventually when one of the enemies attacks me, the whole game freezes. Not Lag. I tried waiting to check.
All of the above only occurs if I try to play immediatly again after I saved.
As for the rest of the critique
Game play: 9 Turn by turn actions with each side taking turns. The only issue I had was with the massive sea battle where I had to take the factories. I didnt know that you had to stay on the factory for one round to own it.
Story: 7 As I never played the other Battalion gamers Im not sure if there is an extended story. from what I saw I liked. It was fairly straight forward. The soldier who goes on a power trip. He has a idiot side kick who brings amusement to the story. In regards to originality you get a 7
Art: 10 I think the arts was well done.
Music: 10. Music was good. I liked it and didn't find myself getting bored
Good job. I look forward to playing the other ones.

This is some great stuff man. I love the way that choke points work godly well in this game even though they're useless in advance wars. This game actually reminded me of a disk game called homewars, except that the strategy's differ. I have also found that, among the units, the rocket tanks and battleships kick serious face. All in all, nice, well-rounded game. 10/10 and 5/5.
