Simple, but familiar.
This game seems like continuous MMO grinding, with not much but better gear for more grinding, and stuff to get a higher powered dragon, also to make the grinding easier.
Apart from the grinding, this is a very good game, it's simple and easy to understand, it's also an addictive game. It was hard for me to step away from the game. So bottom line, great game.

I think a lot of the reason people are complaining about the mage is because they aren't taking the time to use their looking eyes and see that there is a little designated area underneath the equipment boxes where they can buy skills for her, so nevermind them. I was really impressed with this game. I love how the stylization is almost crude, but nice to look at. You've really done a good job on it. I think part of the reason is that you didn't skimp on the background.
I think you need to be able to sell stuff for more money, or get a larger amount of money from killing enemies, because it took me an hour and a half, and quite a few Blob Bonanza's to get some crucial gear. Let's face it, the blacksmith charges out the ass. I get that it's part of the challenge, but if Blaze weren't the psychotic, rapeasaurus rex that he is, this game would be unreasonably difficult.
All in all, I'd say that you've exceeded my expectations. I saw the art style, and was questioning whether or not this would be an hour's time wasted. Glad you proved me wrong. I'd love to see a sequei!
