Very cool man, can kinda picture your initial approach, guess it depended on how many background figures there'd be? Either way, the composition and the setting meld well, interesting the ocean is above the clouds, and yet looks so natural, gg!
Oh OK https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinkiro It's funny, I've been looking at old Atari 2600 box art lately, some of which was exquisite. Kinda needed to be, considering the primitive code used and the hefty 50$ (old USD) pricetag....
Love both color scheme and motive! So vivid, and fresh, and unusual... like a Hawaii shirt with skulls. Skillful contrasts between what feels like pain and peace, and atmospheric backgrounds to match. Nice!
