I get it

...Or at least this is what I get out of this video.
It reminds me of all the time I spent playing video games and wasting alot of my life in the 90's ironically. Not saying it has thrown me into a hole perhaps as large as yours but I definately missed out on more important things.

I like how you brought into light the fake accomplishments felt while playing through a game and then it just means nothing except a waste of your life. Always trying to find a great purpose playing a hero in a game but it is just something false.

I did have one nightmare of a video game back then though! Mario from the first Super Mario bros Kept getting larger and larger on the screen untill he exploded! I was like 4 or 5yo and it freaked the hell out of me...

Emptygoddess responds:

That sounds terrifying.

Poignent ending

Were you meaning looking for "a princess" is pointless, like wasting too much time looking for a girl (or boy) can get to be too much of a time-sink? Or "a princess" referring to spending so much time doing someone else's work that your life gets wasted (IE: as the king's knight, you get to waste your time looking for his princess even though you may give a crap about her).

There seems to be a deeper, subjectively interpretive meaning to the ending there. Very nice. Good job!

Emptygoddess responds:

Maybe I meant all of those! oooOOOOoo scary ghost noises! oooOOOoo!

I.... um... :(

That was sad and frightening and really very shocking at the end. I liked it, though, it wasn't like the high-octane sprite stories I'm used to. it was something new and it was really good.

Emptygoddess responds:

A sprite powered by octane would be really neato.

I loved it.

Brilliant concept, and great execution.

Emptygoddess responds:

Kind words. Kind words from a blue camera man.

Good Point

In most cases the princess the hero saves never marries, shows true love towards, or even makes out with the hero. So it makes you wonder if they do it for purpose, love, or even if they just resuce them out of boredom. Either way, this was fun to think about, and pretty cool to watch. Good video. (^_^)

Emptygoddess responds:

Or maybe they're practicing the ideal of courtly love.
