Reviews for "Shadez2: Battle for Earth"

good game but some bug

I really like startegy games (RT and also TB). This games games seems good but I found some problem with controls:
grup assignment only works for key 1
How the hell you can load units into trasporters?
I also don't like games that are half-free, but I have to admit that also programmers need to eat.
Finally I have to notice that C&C was really a good game, and I have played it a lot (and you copied voices from it) but was not an original game, it was just a successor of Dune 2 (1992).

Actually, I play monopoly for free

Not a bad game after playing for a bit.

BTW to the guy below me: I can play monopoly online for free and just about ever other board game online for free.

meh

wasnt particulary fun but it was ok at first it was hard to navigate the menus they are too ''busy'' and bright and the buttons arnt very clear.
the game on the other hand was fine it played well and was a little bit fun but im afraid this just wont ever be a great game as it will ALWAYS be compaired to command and conquer or any other games similar to C&C. i like the concept but maybe u shud rethink the play style.
personally i think it would do much better as a worms type turn based style game with all the C&C looks and buildings and army.

More Tiberian Sun than any other C&C

It wasn't bad, I'll admit. In fact I rather enjoyed playing it, especially with all that ore and stuff. Good times. However, it's as if you took a good concept and decided go the complete other direction.

Upgrading with experience did almost nothing, except make them a bit stronger. The game, while annoying with financial management was way too easy. (I beat everything with Heavy Tanks and Apaches) Strike centers? Please, they were as useful as the missile silos in Red Alert. As long as the enemy's shield thing was up, I was better off making mass amounts of armor and air defense. And by the time I could knock down the generator, I could already beat the game.

I won't fault you for having mochigames things. But over 40% I have to pay for? and for similar missions? Please... on all the other games, it's mostly cheats (like "Expert mode").

Sean, I hope you understood the Tiberian Sun analogy.
As for Westwood studios, they were just unfortunate to release Red Alert 2 around 9/11. Play the game and you'll see why. :D

ok needs work

the whle pay to play thing is kinda gay, but well intergrated, seems to be a massive jump in the tech for no reason from scandinavia to the white house, also there is no way to restart level I can see or exit back to map, once you have realised you want to get out, as a test i just sped up game play so I could be wiped out on the white house level and nothing enemy wont attack till provoked.
