Reviews for "Glass Fish Rhythm"

Cool, but...

I have to say this, the game is awesome graphically, and musically, but It's HARD TO CONTROL!

Insane amounts of skill

Required of both programmer and player for this game. Synchronized motion of backgrounds, hazards, and player size with the music was just astounding. Eggs for save/load worked without a hitch every time I used them. I wanted to stop after the millionth time I died on the boss, but I just couldn't quit without seeing what happened next with both the story and the music/graphics lineup.

That said, I died about a million times on the boss, and it rapidly became frustrating that I had to redo the 3rd level every time I wanted to get to the boss. I got the hang of it so I didn't die on my way to the boss, but still, a lot of invested time only to screw up and take a godzilla fire breath to the face.

The levels were difficult, but not exceedingly so considered how few there were (if you can't handle 4 or 5 times though a level for 3 levels, the problem isn't in the game). Dropping an egg right by the extra eggs in lvls 1 and 2 made it into an infinite checkpoint instead of giving you only a limited number of tries, which also helped. I found the collision sensitivity to be harsh, but fair (you're made of glass after all), and was happy to see that you crashed against objects, not the boxes around them (that would have definitely killed the game for me).

Since the levels take a set amount of time (you can't get good at them and speed through), add the ability to save closer to the boss. Besides that, absolutely amazing.

Now, if I could just figure out those last 3 achievements...

fragile yet artsy

fire spermz maed me lulz

Awwwwww....

The game used to work, but since all of two days ago, it stopped working. The loading screen would show up, but when I pressed the play button it failed and went to a screen with only a small section of blue bar and random purple picture. But while I played it, I enjoyed myself. It was a very unique idea and the game ran smoothly while it worked. I never got around to finishing it, but I would like it if I could. I'm not giving a ten because the one almost a little too frustrating midair egg glitch, I came around to fixing that one myself. I thought the storyline was a little cheesy, but I like my share of cheese. :P If you ever come around to fixing it, PM me! I really want to finish this game!

Good game but...

is good but how to beat that freaking wizard?
