Horrible.
1. Poor choice of music.
2. Poor Gameplay - Yes, it's just a platformer, but seriously? Can you make a double jump look more unatural then it should? It was like you actually stopped in mid jump, found an invisible plot of land, then jumped again. There was no flow at all.
3. There are many more excellent platformers that have come on newgrounds prior to this. This... lacks in all aspects.

Jump 'n Gun definitely sets itself apart from the other platformers on NG. It's easy on the eyes, plays well, and it's just plain fun. The music can be a little repetitive at times but I never found it to be annoying and it's definitely better than most other games soundtracks on here. Other than a few minor hiccups: running is slippery, having to start places off with no ammo, and occasionally being able to run through and on top of spikes, Jump 'n Gun is definitely good. Platforms...Mmmmm
Pretty interesting little platform game, I like the easy animation that gives it an easy feel and allows it to run smoothly on any computer. The audio files are nice, little old school for some, but the background music is nice, if not a little redundant. Not bad, fun, not the first Ive ever played though

great game but the thing is that it lags a bit too much
it wasnt my connection i have a really good connection
and the glitches that happens when you shoot at them and it goes thru the enemies
other than that good attempt to bring back a good nes style shooting game a bit challenging easy to play
controls are good but could be improved for example putting the shoot, run and use key buttons on the z,x,c buttons
id recommend playing this game to anyone who is into classic shooting games
