They mean well, but sometimes...
...you think you'd have an easier time if they just kicked you in the nuts and left you on the curb to moan in pain. In fact, that would probably be a favor from them, since at least it would be a predictable behaviour pattern from them rather than always trying to guess what they're going to do or say next to embarass the hell out of you.
But, still, gotta love your elders if your elders love you. They're greatest want in life is for you to have more opportunities to do more with your life than they did. And a really good bowel movement.
