Amazing!
The fights in this were even better than in the other episodes. While the dialogue was also pretty nice, I'm not sure it was necessary to have close-ups of the character's faces as opposed to their normal sprites.
Also, something bothered me. Why can the basilisk guy arbitrarily turn all of them to stone with ease no matter how powerful they are? If he actually doesn't have any emotion then it doesn't make much sense for him to challenge mario to a 1 on 1. It just seems to me like a bit of a cheesy way to make it into a 1 on 1 scenario.
Sorry for being so critical, it's still the most well-done flash video I have seen on Newgrounds or anywhere else.

The fighting scene was pure win. You made Luigi kick ass too, and he's my favorite character so if he gets a major part later in the series I would be very happy!
The story was full of emotion and creativity! I was not expecting what happened to happen. I can't wait for your next installment! Don't stop making these, please!

Once again, you've created and exciting, thrilling, cliff-hanger episode of SMBZ! I honestly thought you had given up on making episodes, but I was wrong! Oh, I'm SO glad I was wrong! I can't wait for the next installment of the series, and I bet it will be better than this one! And a suggestion: Stick with the 3D things; They rock!!
