Reviews for "Hawaiian Puppies"

Fun

The only real complaint I have about this piece is the writing/voice acting for the dragon/spirit guy. It's kind of odd that all the other character have really natural sounding voices with normal dialogue, while that one character has an awful voice and unconvincing writing. Dunno.

Other than that, this is a light-hearted musical cartoon with flashy colors, sickeningly cute characters, and a catchy beat. If this were a series, I would definitely keep an eye out for future installments.

nice

great animation, and i agree with robban, you should make a tv show about these guys!

absolutely loved it!!!

u should make a cartoon and send it to television this would sell for millions im very sure about that even i would watch it!!!!!!!!!

AWESUME

The art in this animation was exquisite and the characters were super cute. The music was very good (big fan of the old grey mare). But on some negative feedback:
1) the dragon Aqua's voice was kind of hard to make out at the start, but did get gradually better.
2) the Hawaiian Puppies got no credit for teaching the little water dragon to dance.
3) WTF is with the bats trying to sleep at Night?
But honestly through all my negative criticism this was an excellent animation and I am glad I watched it. ty :)

Cutest damn thing I've ever seen.

I loved the first short, and I think this toppled it by far. The background is astonishing, the characters are adorable yet have this fable like aura to them (no, I am not refering to the game), and the story line was short but sweet.

I have to admit, the voice acting was not in my taste, but the voices fit the characters. I do however think it worked better as a silent cartoon, with the music playing in the background 'n' such. I could see where that would be a challenge in a more developed plot like this though.

As for those who complain about this being in the wrong place for it's audience, THIS IS NEWGROUNDS! There is a little slogan I want you to remember. "Everything by Everyone" I, for one, am glad to see real talent instead of joke talents hiding behind a drawn penis.
