interesting
It's a fun little game, but the gameplay is too broken up by speech pages. It's okay every once in a while, but when you get to a jump or coin-heavy area, the constant switches to the speech frames gets kinda annoying.

not bad
its not a bad little game, sound and animation is good, but by about the third time I jumped/got a coin/landed, I was getting sick of the constant cut ins, like i said it was ok the first coupla times, after that it got annoying real fast

Ok I see the joke, and applaud for that, but I was immediatly annoyed with how I got a pausing caption for everything I did.
So other then that I think it's a fun game. Kind of like an old styled Mario.

You know what? I really hope you make a sequel. Because this made me giggle like an idiot. It's a wonderful game for getting distracted, with a great sense of humor. i get WHY you had all those little text boxes for every action and reception of any coin or diamond, but it was a bit much. It made the gameplay incredibly choppy and hard to get into.
Not to mention, the game lacked any checkpoints Or none that I reached, anyways. In the short time I took to play this game, I died three times, and got pretty damn far all three times. It's aggravating to not have any checkpoints, despite how simple a game is supposed to be.
Consider making a 1934, though, or something like that. I would love to see you improve on this idea.
Wonderfull game
I love the concept but I agree with Wolvinof, the title cards are to frequent. Aside from that, the plot and graphics are great and I would like to see a sequel :)
