It's time to make my review, I think. I just found this game and have played for the last 1.2 hours aaand....I really liked it
It did get fairly repetitive, but all the upgrades throughout the game and the different enemies kept it playable. It wasn't perticularly difficult, as I didn't die for the 25 levels. But honestly dude, if you think ANYONE is going to get those ridiculous achievements your out of your mind.
"Complete all levels with under 50% hp"
A different achievement for every bow you fully enchant? I never fully enchanted one, only 3 or 4 points. You would have to play through to level 7 or 8 to upgrade the crappy shortbow you get from the start, just for a single achievement, then repeat that 6 times.
If ANYONE get's the newgrounds "Complete every single task" achievement, you can message me and I'll write you a 500 word essay on how awesome you are, because it seems damn near impossible.
You also need to add a tutorial level, I know it shows all the commands under "instructions" but face it. Most people don't look at the instructions before they play, including me. I bought a spell, couldn't figure out how to use it, then sold it.
A little soundtrack would be good too, just give us 3 or 4 repetitive songs to listen to instead of one :P
This is a fun game, but I doubt it's fun enough to make the common person spend 5 or 6 hours on here trying to get every single task, and that's how long it would take. I love that you put so many in there, but some of them are overexaggerated and fucking impossible. All for 100 newgrounds points? Get real!
I might just punch the cheats I unlocked in, and play it again using melee weapons and spells, as I didn't even touch them my first playthrough.
Oh! Pro Tip: The prices of healing potions skyrocket after every boss, so once you kill a boss and go to the shop, but a ton of healing potions. They go from 150, to 600, to 2400, to 10000 each, and they don't get any stronger
(I never bought any of the potions at the begining, so I don't know the price, It's probably around 40)
