awesome

Not as good as the first one.

Alright, so...the last time I reviewed this game - or rather, the original that this came from - I mentioned that some of the castles were seemingly made to dick around with the player. I actually said those words and still gave a ten because I still liked it, alot. This time...uhhh...some of the love is lost. I think it's great that you made a special player-pack and all, but a fair few of them took too much advantage of the dubious physics.

What do I mean? Well, I mean that weight and gravity and balance don't seem to apply well enough here. For starters, a group of long steel (or wood, or stone) pieces cannot hang stable at a forty-five degree angle and hold up a roof (or in fact anything). A single slat cannot keep a knight or whatever protected from disaster when all the other load-bearing struts are either down or leaning at an angle unsupported and there's the entire rest of the castle on top. And frankly, alot of this stuff shouldn't stand up to the punishment I give it anyway. To put it simply, the physics of this game is too much wobbly and not enough fall.

Now, some of the blame is really on the makers of this batch of castles. They know the nature of the game like I do and basically decided to be a jerk about it. I must say, though, that the medal-earnings are...yeah right. How do I put this? Some castles, you cannot do in one hit. I earned alot of gold today. Plenty of them certainly can and are even difficult. Some I enjoyed greatly (like the FIghting Back castle, which was just awesome). But there are ones in there that are built too tough to do in one and expect a guy to do that in order to get the gold. No way.

That, and a dollar will get you a cup of coffer, or something. My point is that this was still a good thing. I just don't think you should leave the designs in the hands of players next time. They fight, er...seige dirty.
