Reviews for "Day of the Madness"

the jumpscare at 2:40 got me good

This is a different type of Madness movie. There was less murder and mayhem. Action was almost second to the story. People showing up and leaving quickly was strange. This is a nice movie, but would work better if it was not associated with the Madness brand.

Doctor! Thank you!! I agree that I definitely went overkill with the characters, lmao I dunno what I was thinking.

Very nice animation

So this was pretty cool, I really love this not for the "MADNESS" theme but for the different scenes and all the action that comes with each one, the view shots on this is just really is amazing you can see how in depth detailed details in each scene and thats what I really enjoyed about this, I would have loved even more details in the scenes like more blood shed on the walls maybe some small shading on the walls and much more props, but anyways great movie here.

Why did they let the soldier die? Also wouldn't the store owner's death have been more dramatic if he'd been killed by the half eaten zombified remains of orange jacket? I think the random character with two guns that are gold plated which feels like a reference to Resident Evil's second movie, could have been removed if you'd done that. All in all, this is a great movie, and whilst the action in the first one was slightly better, this one improves on the storytelling aspects considerably, with more depth than the previous one.

There wasn't really any action that I found to be as entertaining as the last one. The story was pretty good, although as some people said, the characters do seem to be introduced-and taken away- pretty quick. Also, Veronica has no reason to be at an army base. Even if she were a survivor, why would she be in the cafeteria and how has she not run into the paranoid dude at all? Regardless, it is well animated, and it's still very high-quality so I can't give it a low score.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

There were television broadcasts instructing survivors to go to the island. All hell broke loose on the island and she found herself a shelter in the cafeteria. Looking back I would have liked to have them explore the island some more and see some makeshift survivor shacks or something. You got me with Curtis though, he was just kinda randomly there.
