Reviews for "Alice is Dead - Ep 1"

How do you get past the first room lol (I have the note, bone, bottle, card, stick, and rock)

Special game. 5/5.

And I'm sorry Alice. You used your entire brain up until the very end as your character is known for in every interpretation. And this game forces us to be Alice as much as POV character (won't spoil) by using every aspect of our own mind to play.

There are twists and turns all along the way but nothing too drawn out or that you can't figure out and all quite realistic possibilities while set in this unique and enthralling fantasy land. You are submerged in this game. There is a dark enchantment here. More real than surreal yet fantasy and that makes you really wish to not be there and also to strap in and acknowledge every second of the ride. Perhaps as contradictory as the Hatter's riddles.

I think so many people enjoy this game because it has this classic noir cinematic feel while it plays like a classic old mystery game from before the time of online games. So it is distinctive for hitting more than one base at once and memorable and unique but also classic as I mentioned. Not the sort of game you'll find every day and it's aged like fine wine and will continue to. The focus on narrative and mental effort make it timeless because while graphics and exciting visual effects of today can become dated in a few years time; these qualities won't.

So that's why it's interesting but there are other reasons to play this short and sweet attention-keeping game: The clues are literary, mathematical, require deductive reasoning, and an understanding of approachable common sense and solving out of the box riddles and acknowledging possibilities. You see how everything fits into place and solve a real mystery here. All the best games are brain food like this.

Great art and music as well. And smooth programming.

Alice Is Dead is purely what it is:
Pure atmosphere. Pure mystery. Pure puzzles. And definitely pure horror.

Now THIS is a certified hood classic!!

I like how using ANY item on anything has unique text

Whens the remake come out? Can't wait.
