i beat the quiz(genius 0 misses) and i went to magic trick. i figured out the secret. the formula only allows certain numbers, which all have the same symbol as number 9, you cant fool me :3

Correct. Any 2 digit number adding the 2 digits together and subtracting from the original number will give you a multiple of 9.
