Reviews for "Sean and Justin"

Is there anything left to say?

No, Everything I could say would just be to inadequate for this. Who ever reads the reviews before watching the flash trust me, THIS IS WORTH EVERY SECOND OF YOUR TIME!!!

HAHAHA

I LOVED IT, this is one of the best ive seen in ages 10/10

BIDOOF

Made no sense what so ever but it had Bidoof so you get a 10.

damn hilarious

Hehe, the movie doesn't make any sence but its damn hilarious :D

(also liked your animation)

Great! Except for...

Guys, this was great. I like you're caricatures, simple but funny. Loved some of the pop culture references, and I didn't have a problem with the random nature of the adventures.

My otherwise steady stream of laughter was interrupted in parts by some slow comedic timing. The first half of the "Inadequate Justin" skit is one example, things just seemed to move to slowly. In contrast, once he get the ring, I couldn't stop laughing. The very end of the movie (I'm a fire in the....BAAAH!) was another hilarious bit.

Technically, it seemed a bit clunky, like there was a too much being animated. I'm not a flash artist in any way so forgive the poor description, but that's how it felt when watching the moving images, as if too much memory was being used for a simple flying dwarf.

Also, the dialogue was funny, but please get some better mics guys.

You definitely deserved front page for this. Just needed a few extra tweaks imo.

Cheers,
- H

I'm not big on the technical stuff, so things like micro-lag and mic quality tend to pass by my radar. The memory usage for some scenes didn't bother me all that much, even on my supremely-antiquated Mac, but I suppose there's always room for improvement. :P

As for voice quality, we actually used the mic that comes packed with 'Rock Band'. Cuz we're cheap. I didn't notice too much wrong with the voicing initially, with the exception of little tiny spurts and crackles, but I didn't think it would be a big problem. But generally my work in the sound effects department was admittedly, pretty half-assed. I'm not much of a sound guy. :P

But, rest assured, this is all stuff I'm working on; I can improve sound quality and memory usage if I spend more time tweaking and fiddling with 'em. Although, 'S+J' is pretty impressive for a first effort, considering. :)
