AI needs work
other than that, its a pretty alright game. at mission 6, the difficulty curve went from holding your hand to pushing you into a cage with zerglings. i admit i lost a couple times before getting it and got frustrated, but then i looked at what i was doing wrong. i was starting slow and i was trying to counter-attack, never do this. the attack drones on their side come standard with fully upgraded lasers, even at like level 5 it seems like i was throwing 15 guys against 5 early in the level in an attempt to wipe out their miners and choke them, but id get my ass handed to me every time.
to win, you need to prioritize. as soon as you land, build a resource mine, build 3 power stations, build 8 miners, build battle center, build 2 or 3 repair drones and 8 fighters and position that bunch where the enemy will attack, try to group them close... the repair drones repair the fighters mid fight, usually you can defend like that for the entire game, replacing the ones that manage to die with rapid attackers, impact blasters or artillery, after that it doesnt matter.. wall yourself in with torpedo turrets, starve them of resources, bombard with missiles, anything works
