I liked it.
The creature itself reminded me of the chupacabra. I also liked the fact that this didn't nessecarily need a bunch of extra fluff. It would make a great series too!

You wonderfully managed to build the suspense however the animation was too clear, clean, almost to a clinical point, to be believable for a horror. It should have been darker, smudged...hope I'm making any sense here.
Nevertheless, I see some major talent here. Get out the almost robotic movement at points, add ambience and I'm positive you'll do (even) better.
P.S. Sound was spot on, kudos there!
good but..
bit anti-climactic. i mean.. he goes in and sees this evil monster and starts running.. but all it took was a whack from a stick and it runs off.
dont get me wrong, i loved the flash and it actually made me jump when i saw its face cause i was expecting it not to show itself yet.
Suspenseful
What really got me was the beginning. It doesn't take a lot scare me, but I know what is scary and what is not. The atmosphere, the animation, the music and tone was really at its best, and there was this eerie feeling that kept me in the edge of my seat.
The action was smooth, and the animation was pretty good, although there were parts of the flash when it felt somewhat cardboard and flat. But the flash also had its great scenes: I really loved the first-person view while the character was holding out the flashlight and his camera, and the eye movements that made him more real and life-like.
I'm a bit disappointed at the ending, though. It felt like that was all there is. There's a story in it, but the story is just presented as 'this is a story' and that's it. It has a potential to be something greater, but instead you just ended it with something ambiguous. ... but I guess I'm not understanding the story much. I'm sorry, but I felt like I was missing something important.
But this is a great flash nonetheless, and a great addition to the front page. These days, this site is being filled with (some) meaningless garbage that doesn't make sense, but I'm glad to find something different once in a while. Really looking forward to your future submissions.
