Had potential

You could have made this a lot better. Like increase the range, be able to level the buildings, and a few other things. Some of the problems i found was that you could just hold w and shoot everywhere, the people have to much health and a bunch of other stuff.

Train...with a gun?

Well that's new :) Pretty good game play and a great timekiller :)

Has Potential, but lots of problems

---------------------------
Sound - 3/10
---------------------------
I only up until level 5. The music by that point was getting repetitive. I apologize if the game does have differnt sound tracks, but during gameplay they all sounded the same.
A main point of the game is to blow things up in order to get money, but to do that you need to shoot at the same building for upwards of 5 seconds. The repetitive shooting sound adds to the tediousness of the task. Sure you can just turn the sound off, but you shouldn't need to turn the sound off in a game to stop it being annoying, that defeats the point of sounds and music

Gameplay - 3/10
---------------------------
The train system is quite innovative and new. It has a lot of potential for being an enjoyable little game. however, there are a number of important flaws that stop it being enjoyable gameplay wise.

First up, the enemies are too hard to hit. I watched my bullets physically pass over the little soldiers, but it seemed that because of the 2.5D view, it didn't register as a hit. I found this frustrating since the soldiers don't move in a predictable pattern, the same for all enemies. Standing still and shooting isn't an option since the enemies usually move out of your short firing range. This means you get shot a lot and some of the shots begin to build up quite a bit of damage. Moving and shooting isn't an option either, since hitting the enemies is so awquard that moving while shooting is near impossible to get any accurate hits, leading to having to spam shots to score a hit. This links in with the sound section, and annoyance at the shot sound.

Secondly, the game mechanic of earning money by destroying buildings isn't a new one, but is non the less a nice addition. However, it takes far too long to destroy the buildings and the upgrades are, in comparison, expensive enough to warrent having to destroy large numbers of buildings each level. This takes away from the gameplay of shooting enemies, and turns it into a boring, repetitive money-grind.

Thirdly, there is no way of telling if there are enemies hidden behind buildings. Sure you could just wait for them to move, but the buildings are so big and the enemy movement so unpredictable that all you can do is stand still while spraying bullets behind the building in the hopes of hitting an enemy. All the while, the soldier is shooting an occasional bullet at me, depleting my all-important health.

Fourth, on the upgrade screen there is an option of upgrading to include rockets. I assumed that the rockets were an addition to my usual shooting turret, and would fire in a straight line where I aimed. However, to my surprise, neither of these were true. The missile fire automatically when in the range of an enemy (I think) and automatically home in on the enemy.
There needs to be some sort of better explanation on the upgrade screen of what each upgrade does, as the rest are mostly self-explanatory

Fifth, again the upgrade screen but this time regarding the carriages. When I bought my first 'missile launcher', I took a look at the upgrade screen and saw the single carriage behind my train. I made the assumption that i started with a carriage, and that the number of additional carriages I buy would change the icon.
I found out however that you need to buy your first carriage to even use just one missile launcher, and found that the icon on the upgrade screen was just decoration and didn't represent my train. This needs to change to reflect the state of your upgrades, or to be faded out and have the upgrades repositioned to look more like a background.

Lastly, the first boss I encountered. Since it had the usual sporadic enemy movement, I stood still to fire at it while my single trusty missile launcher helped. The boss got quite close and it moved over my train and hovered there for some moments, removing a whoping 1/3 of my health. This needs to be made clear, that touching enemies hurts you.

Graphics - 8/10 (no room)

A lot of potential, but needs to fix some a lot of gameplay flaws

Bad

You can't just hold W and shoot around. The range is so short you can't even hit a soldier before you walk over it and since when can trains go over tanks?

omg

How can I dodge all this shit, I have more fun just holding W and shooting all around
