i just loved to rush with one spearman killing everything lol
with a lil luck i could have done better.

THAT. WAS. EPIC.
The game was fairly well balanced. I did not try using the giants, but it seemed that even the rather cheap (gameplay-wise) wizards were weak enough to not be a problem. However, one thing that I did find is that fully upgraded swordwrath and miners made you near unstoppable, as you can see:

That, however, did not make it bad, it's just that I found a strategy that worked fairly well on all levels, which is not what you wanted.
