Reviews for "Lineart Tutorial"

Holy Crap...

I UNDERSTAND. Normally, my brain is incapable of registering any of the information in a tutorial - even ones meant for brain dead monkeys! But I understand this one! It's long, but it has so much useful information, as well as giving me a good insight on how to properly ink my drawings. XD

Tjhank you for this; it really helped immensely!

Nice!!

nice tut :D i wish i was that good, but i got a long way to go <_<

Wavechan responds:

Practice practice @_@! :) Thank you!

So happy to have found your tutorial!

Thank you for this brilliant tutorial. I've always wondered about 'digital inking' techniques - feeling sure there must be a way to create vector lineart that looks natural - but it's so laborious in Illustrator! I'm thrilled to find out about Paint Tool SAI. It will be a great tool for logos that need a natural hand-drawn line feel too, and many other appliations... Your completed artworks on DeviantArt are amazing. Thanks again for providing so much detail. (I knew there must have been others out there wishing they could use vectors more easily!)

OMG

all this information is very useful this will stay with me forever thanx

I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience (as well as your taste in video games, I'm also a big fan of Megaman!).
As someone who is primarily a programmer, I still wish to be able to express my ideas through the art of drawing (I feel as if it is a skill that we are born with, nobody is not an artist). This tutorial gives you a good idea on how to get your stuff from paper to poster. Newgrounds has a fantastic community of teachers and its helping me get a little more motivated (despite most of its questionable and disturbing content that I usually see on the home page).
Thanks for the tips. ;D
