An awesome thing would be to add some sort of Monster bio. and i hav to say, continuous fire is a great improvement. Im giving this a ten cuz it looks like u worked pretty hard and really want this to b a success.

Wish The Power Ups Could Stay with You Forever
If the powerups stayed forever the game would get far too easy when they've all been collected. The whole system would need quite a major rethink. Thanks for the 10!

I don't know why...
But it was a great game. It was fun, and had me hooked for a good while longer than most flash games. The music worked for me, the graphics (except for one thing) were nice, and the gameplay itself was good and simple. The only problems I had at all with this game were 1) When it starts getting harder (after the second boss mostly) it gets more and more difficult to keep track of where you are amongst all the pretty colors and ships. And 2) It seemed to me that sometimes the ships weren't taking damage, the bullets would fly right through the wings or the bulk of the ship. This didn't happen too often, so it's not too much to worry about, but it did happen. Those two minors complaints though don't change the fact that this is actually a better game on newgrounds.
Great Game, makes a common genre feel fresh
I general bore quickly with space shooter type games but this one was addiciting and fun. I i like the visual style and the music, also it controls while. My only suggestions, stylisticly is might fit better if you had a custom cursor, and perhaps a more visible ship.
Great variety of enemies tho!
