The VST is in 10 (Fruity Soundfont Player), the soundfonts, no. I had a few--
Piano: Akai Steinway (this can be found in the 800+ soundfont thread on the Audio Forums).
Solo strings and sparklies: Touhou soundfonts. Now there are two, one solely for drums and percussion, and the other for all instrument banks.
Backing strings: There's a SF which HFX shared with me, known as Squidfont.
Now I would like to pass you what I have, and I'm not sure how to....
It's hard to say just how much I love this piece of music! It certainly has that innocent, 'magical' quality and the strings and piano are hauntingly beautiful. That, and the almost pounding low strings really do give this a strong sense of momentum, as befits a boy on an adventure. My only qualm with this, much as I hate to repeat what others have said, is that it's a little short, and though I don't think it impacts on the quality of the overall piece, it certainly makes me want to hear more! Definitely one I'll favourite.
Very nice piece. It gives me a really strong sense of nostalgia somehow...
Anyway, it is certainly a spirit-lifter and you did a fantastic job capturing the essence of innocence and enthusiasm throughout the entire song. I understand that it's supposed to be a short song, though I feel it could have been something really special if it were longer. Overall, I would say that this is a job well done! :)
Nice! I love classical-type music. Hits me 'right there.' Wish it was longer... Mind if I sample this?
