This is seriously your first try? Seriously? I gotta admit this was pretty awesome. It was well done also, although there is room for improvements, but mainly animation of the characters. But other than that, you did awesome.

Impressive
Very good for a first sprite movie. There wasn't a moment where the action fell flat and you ended on a perfect "To Be Continued," leaving the audience wanting more. The edge of the forest was cut off a little oddly at one point though. In the future, you should try editing the edge of a background like that to the last whole tree using Photoshop or Paint to give the scenery a more natural feel to it.
Pretty good for your first.
