Reviews for "TF2 - Rocketman"

Nice work !

Nicely done
Animation : 10/10
Work : 9/10
Pleasure to look this movie : 9.5/10
Total : 9.5/10
Keep the nice work !

Nice

This is a good flash I really love it

Now make it playable...

If this was a sprite game I would be using this box here to tell you how much of a genius you are etc but it's not... and it really should be..

Too many long periods of just walking between slightly comedic or action packed moments... don't get me wrong it WAS good.. but if you'd made a game instead of a movie and let the player go thru all 8 levels it would be the tits!

Other than that it's a nice bit of flash with some good TF references (although I though TF was Transformers when I saw the name on the portal lol

This was always my least favourite stage on MM as a kid purely for all the orange and green and the shortest music loop... gotta say though LOVED the intro

Well done.. make a game of this and you'll have my 10.. if you make another episode, treat it like an episode, and not like watching someone play.. it will work better

Keep it up though you definitely know what you're doing

Genjis responds:

I'm well aware about the fact that some parts are kinda slow, but that's due to the fact that I had some problems with tweens. It's my first big movie after all, so I'm not that "smooth" then other sprite movie artists. Still, thanks for the fair review man.

About the game thing: I indeed had the idea of creating a game based on the TF2-Megaman-idea, but since I'm absolutely no programmer (trust me, I've tried it out at least once) this is the best thing I could do. But the internet is big, maybe I find someone who can help me out with the programming, who knows?

Excellent!

I really enjoyed watching this. It was funny, original, and I can tell you put a lot of effort into both the sprites (well, ripping them) and the animation. The idea of a Megaman/TF2 mix had never entered my head, yet you managed to pull it off very well. My only complaint was that I found it to be a little slow at times, although I'm guessing that was your constraint from setting a low framerate for the movie.

It's a minor criticism, though, I think you've done a great job.
