cool concept, poorly carried out
I loved the opening cutscene and the storyline to me sounded interesting but unfortunately working your way through it was too repetetive and annoying to bother with. after the 3rd generator it became a pointless battle as ther screen fills with so many enemies the game begins to lag. the upgrading system was too costly with too many branches and just holding off an endless tide made it seem like no matter how many i killed i wasnt really doing anything. perhaps create spawning points that you must eliminate before being overrun. or perhaps you have allies not just a hologram projector of yourself, and you must fight to take ground from the insects as they fight to do the same, also the tumbleweed like insects were just annoying and often the game was lagging to much t be able to shoot them properly. other than that i enjoyed the concept of the game and thought that making the game a lot more like an actual war and not just a hopless holding of the line would be a great improvement.
My personal rating: 4/10 less than satisfactory
