Reviews for "twin botz"

Not much of a game

There's some neat ideas here, but when you get down to it it's not much of a game. All you have to do is press the upgrade buttons in time and use the cannons when they're charged and have something to shoot at.

It's not that addicting because it gets boring really quickly. There just isn't that much "skill" involved.

QWERTZ COMPATIBILITY

This game is shit if leveling up my left bot needs me to cross half the keyboard with my thumb... I just can't play it like that. However, the main concept is great.

pretty boring

just make an x on screen with robots at bottom and click like hell easy game good idea i enjoyed it for like 10 mins then got bored.

Zero challenge, but quite enjoyable

The first thing I thought of when I began playing this was that this would be PERFECT as a stand up arcade machine. It's graphically appealing, the music sets an appropriate mood of excitement and tension and the gameplay is fast and furious. However, I soon realized that as an arcade cabinet this would go broke...I found a way so that you never take damage let alone die. If you park both robots as far down as you can you can spray bullets back and forth toward the area where the enemies appear. They can't get past the top of the screen and the cannons build up energy VERY fast this way. In doing so you can have the cannons blasting away constantly. At one point I was able to fire all four cannons off FOUR times before they ever finished firing since their energy would fill up before the beam disappeared. I finally realized on wave 27 that it just wouldn't ever end, so I just stopped firing all weapons and killed myself. I ended with a combo of 8413, 424 cannon uses, and both robots were at level 16 giving me a total score of 731,980,802. Without a story or any real sense of accomplishment, I don't really feel all that special about 730 million points. Oh and by the way, you should put the level/score information that's at the top of the screen in the foreground. It was blocked by the enemy blood splatters for 90% of the game. All in all, despite the flawed gameplay, this game delivered in the area that matters most in a game: it was still fun as hell. 4/5, 8/10

Much too easy

This game got more than easy once I figured out that the you shoot as fast as you can click--and I can click fast. Once I had a score of 4500000 or so and a combo of 2200 I stopped playing, as the difficulty doesn't rise if you just keep using your laser cannon and click rapidly everyone on the screen. An ending score of 45336741, I just got bored. I got my left bot to 13 and my right to 12, and although the curve of the enemies' life and the damage you deal was nice, it just seemed impossible to die if you clicked fast enough. Not my style, really.
