Reviews for "The Budget Invasion"

Far away from a great game...

..but still a impressive job, it was really funny to play, until the last stage.Until you reach the two last stages, every stage is pretty simple, the music add to the fun, nothing like a good piano song to erradicate the human race...but man, the last stage isn't just extremely hard, its a pain in the ass.Its frustranting how all the others stages were easy, and the last one being hard as hell, you cant count with skills, you only can beat it with the luck, try to fix it, and great job with this one, is the first game of this kind that I really tried to beat.

Obs:A good add whould be medals, some other thing you can improve, but this review is already big enough.

This is just my opinion, hugs, Kaio.

Cool job on this one smooth

Twist to the everyday game

This is a very nicely done variation to the everyday game.
Good job.
Gets boring after a while tho.
Somewhat repetitive

I know it's for the premise of the game...

But there is just too much about the type of game it is that makes the storyline feel crappy and wrong. Like the fact that the soldiers you're flinging your soldier-ammunition at aren't even really attacking you... just marching at you?? What the hell sense does that make? And only like-colored soldiers (when standing near two or more other like-colored soldiers) kill each other when hit? What the hell sense does THAT make? I know it was supposed to be funny. It just came off as more of an excuse to make it into a game like this, rather than a reason.

I will say it was well made. Graphics were nice, menus clean, and it had the right amount of polish and shine to it. The power ups were a nice touch, and pretty creative.

Could have been better

The plot is okay, but you've not persued it. This game, in the end, is nothing more then the same old Bust-a-move clone.

What could have been better, regarding originality was introducing funny cut scenes, changing 'enemies' (tanks/jet fighters/...) or having the player pick new locations on a world map (of changing locations like Egypt, Japan,... in cut scenes)

The plot was okay, but it was poorly elaborated on.
