Reviews for "Skull in Connemara"

Good animation but....

I didn't get the story to much, could you explain it?

TheBoogley responds:

The whole premise of the animation leading into the play is that everyone should be suspicious of how his wife died and if he meant to kill her. In the play he's hired to dig up old remains at the cemetery to make room for new bodies, and he has to move his wife's bones. It's all very suspicious... >_>

Thanks

Thanks for that wonderful animation, don't see that quality too often here anymore. Would have giving you a 10 if this was completely original, in the sense that you already had a pre written script for the play. Of course that's not your fault, but I believe that points should be awarded for originality.

TheBoogley responds:

boo! I wants ten! :B
:3

Nice and Mysterious...

Such raw dirty animation worked well for the piece and visually it was very enjoyable to watch. The soundtrack also worked quite well. Being Irish, the stereotypes were still visible but it didn't bug me that much in this. The idea of having it shown through mist was simply genius, and such an exciting incentive whilst animating it! At the moment I'm animating something quite similar for an Irish comedian called Jon Kenny. Before he jumps on stage a small animation of him will play on an overhead projector signalling his arrival.
Anyway, great stuff, it looks wonderful.

TheBoogley responds:

I wasn't sure if it seemed irish enough, but I know what you mean about stereotypes. I hope you upload the animation when it's finished, send me a link when it's out, I'd love to see it.

interesting.

kinda feel sad for the poor bloke having everyone blame him for the girls death and that he was so mournful for her loss he had to go dig her up = /

THAT ROCKED! ^_^b

TheBoogley responds:

He wasn't mournful, he was just feeling randy, or maybe hungry :3

very amazing artwork

i got confused time to time

TheBoogley responds:

that's bound to happen, when people get to your age they sometimes become forgetful... :3
