Reviews for "Skull in Connemara"

Tragic.

Completely different than your usual style. Which is normally cartoony and fun. Taking a new turn into something different is always hard, but you seem to have nailed it. Making a tragic story in black and white. Showing detailed characteristics within' the people. The music matched fairly well. For those who are not used to this type of thing, should have no promblem telling the dark-setting of it. A surprise twist from your normal work. Not sure if I can adjust to it yet.

Perhaps, more like this in the future? Although, I'd hate to see your cartoony-style go away. But, as always, great job.

TheBoogley responds:

I'm having trouble adjusting to it myself, I watch it feeling as though someone else made it. Probably because I didn't have anything to do with writing the story either.

awsomly twisted

the animation style was perfect for this kind of short the way it showed his nausea and pain was a nice touch the bit when he was looking at the skull was well done with the view rotating

TheBoogley responds:

nausea? He looked nauseous? Must've been the smell of her corpse :)

I do Love some experimental Noir

That was visually awesome! It was nice detour from your usual style, but a welcome one. Did you rotoscope any of the character movements, because the pacing was very well done?

TheBoogley responds:

Yeah, rotoscoping was involved, I filmed the lead actor from the play as reference and did a lot of drawings of him as well to get used to his psysiology, then used both to get the movement right.

sea of tards

Ok the smarter of us are obviously swimming in a sea of tards! People like Garitos and slayer should rub they're heads together to try to warm up some brain cells.

Ok so this is a GREAT job and congrats on a short that will be used in such a big way. I look forward to seeing the opening version posted soon! 5/5 and 10/10

TheBoogley responds:

Thanks for your interest, I've embedded a youtube video of the projection on my userpage :)

wow

that was AWESOME.....absolutely BRILLIANT....10/10 from me!!!

TheBoogley responds:

I can't tell you how happy that makes me, I just can't, don't ask me to :3
