And this expands greatly on the idea. I love it. Absolutely love it.

Great fun
Love the game! I'm an old Bomberman fan, and this game is a great remake/retake that maintains the aspects that were great about the original but at the same time adds in enough new elements to keep it interesting.
@LadyFrench: it's hardly the game developers' fault if you're not good enough at gaming, or had a Nintendo in the 80s. I beat the game in about 25 minutes.

When i was young, i used to fantasize about combining different video games. I never thought of Bomberman meets gauntlet, but this is AWESOME! VERY WELL DONE!!
Unbelievably and awesomely nostalgic
Whereas Bomberman and its clone versions knocked my socks off, this new version also launders my socks, folds them, tucks them neatly into my sock drawers and give me a pedicure.
All around great character graphics, love the tracks and gameplay. Nostalgia heaven. Looking forward to a sequel with lots of level bosses and some new weapons.
